Looking for creative way to have an interactive calendar

It's not going to be a terribly busy calendar.  Just events for various user groups meet ups.  So, each head of a user group could simple put their events in a list or table format.  But would like those to then popular a calendar.

as @Vero Rivas mentioned, Team Calenders is a great possibility to work with calendars in Confluence. However, this is a Confluence Premium feature.
