Hello!
I'm currently investigating on functionality of Confluence.
I've found out that image attached to page can be annotated (put some comment in particular area of image). That's very cool.
I have some images on my cloud storage with HTTP access.
May I place these external images on confluence page and annotate them? (without attaching them and store in Confluence DB)
And another question - Can I make a gallery of external images?
Hi!
Yes, you can add images from the web without loading to Confluence.

As far as I know, there is no built-in galleries in Confluence. But you can create a gallery of external images with the Handy Carousel macro from Handy Macros for Confluence.
