This isn't working and I don't know why.

<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left">test message </marquee>

The text just sits there on the page. (And I can see the markup.)

Hi Paula,

Are you trying this with HTML macro? If you are, below should work fine:

&lt;html&gt;&lt;marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left"&gt;test message &lt;/marquee&gt;&lt;/html&gt;

Hi Paula,

There is nothing wrong with your marquee.

I would suggest you to create a HTML sample file and include only your marquee for testing purposes, do not include any CSS and/or Javascript to this sample.

Please, refer to <marquee> Browser Compatibility for further information.
