Metadata- and Reporting Plugin

We try to update to confluence 4 and i have to evaluate if we further use the reporting plugin or replace/reduce with/to metadata.

During my tests i found 2 points that concern to the Metadata Plugin:

• Metadata Plugin doesn't show the normal excerpt.
  • I know u are working on C4 compatibility. Do you think u can fix this?
• Reporting Plugin does not show Metadata
  • Not a single one. Only default confluence fields. Perhaps there is a huge problem with the supplier

Well, what's my question?
Don't know, perhaps you can say anything to these topics.
What can be implemented, what not. What comes next, what last...

Our Versions:

• Confluence 4.2.4 (not productive)
• Newest Metadata-Plugin
• Newest Reporting-Plugin

Any other ideas/alternatives?!

Sad to say but we have the same problem and reporting plugin does not work with Confluence 4.3.

For we have ton's of structured pages with metadata information which are compiled to lists using the reporting plugin, this problem is a BLOCKER for moving forward and we have to stay on our current 3.5.16. version. Any help on this issue is highly appreciated.
We wanted to make a intermediate step before upgrading to Confluence 5.x . Does anybody know if these plugins are working there ?

Isn't the metadata plugin still not fully working with Confluence 4? I'm referring to the latest release documented here (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.andya.confluence.plugins.metadata) which is version 3.0-beta 1.

Reporting in Confluence 4 is working pretty well in my experience (okay a problem here and there with the value supplier, but Customware are working through these). The metadata supplier for use with Reporting comes from the metadata plugin. We don't use this, but make frequent use of Scaffolding which works well with Reporting.

We are also facing the same issue...with previous version of confluence 3.5.x report-info used to display metedata without any issue. After we upgraded the confluence version to 4.2 its showing up blank values..Any lead on this issue would be much appreciated..

I'm having the same issue with the metadata supplier not working in Confluence 4. Not sure if this is due to the Reporting plugin or the Metadata plugin.

Any help would be much appreciated!
