Hello,
I've migrated space from server version to cloud version and I've seen that links changed.
E.g.
https://kb.b2bits.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=655432
https://b2bits.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/B2BITS/pages/460547/FIX+Antenna+C+C+.NET+FIX+Engine
I've tried to use this instruction - https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/update-product-links/, but it didn't help.
Could you help me please?
Best Regrads,
Yaroslav
Hi @Yaroslav Melyn ,
Welcome to the community!
How to solve this issue will depend on how the links were created back on Server and how they were handled during the migration. From my past life as a Solution Partner, I vaguely remember that hardcoded links could be pretty problematic. My first suggestion would be to talk to a Solution Partner that specializes in Cloud migrations. They see these problems quite often.
The alternative is to look at the marketplace – there are quite a few link management applications out there that might help you. Personally, I have heard good things about Link Management for Confluence, but there are quite a few others as well. All of them come with a free trial period.
Finally, there's always the option to start scripting, which can also be done quite easily using Confluence's REST API.
Hope that helps,
Oliver
EDIT: I'm just now realizing that you might refer to the way links are formatted, ie having the space key and title in the URL instead of just the page id as before. That is indeed the new default for Confluence Cloud and I don't believe it's an option you can change.
