Modify search parameters in Confluence

Hannah Bölling May 6, 2018

Hi everyone,

I just set up a Confluence space, in which I use a third party tool (Scroll Versions) to be able to define a static URL for a page, but use a different title for it.

Now my only problem is that the confluence search doesn't seem to include the titles I gave the pages in the search, since a page will show up if I search for the static url name I gave it, but not when I search for the title I gave the page itself.

Is there a way that I can modify the search.vm with other parameters or something like that?

Help would be much appreciated. :)

Hi Hannah,

Confluence search only indexes the actual Confluence page title, which might be different from the Scroll Page title you defined. We have a feature request already in our Jira: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/VSN-3240. Unfortunately, there is no workaround for now.

Cheers,
Roman.
