We use Confluence and Jira, OnDemand, and most of our users are not showing up in the Confluence Directory. All user accounts are set up to access both Jira and Confluence, and the users themselves have no issues using either functionality. The problem this causes is that these users that don't show up also aren't recognized by the Share Page functionality when you type in a user name.
Any tips on how to have Confluence recognize the users would be great, thanks!
Thank you for the response, I looked into the bug and thread, unfortunately neither fits our situation. These users have all logged in and used Confluence, yet still do not show up in the People Directory.

Have you tried the workaround? Visit the missing user's profile page e.g. at https://domain.atlassian.net/wiki/display/~jdoe. Wait for a minute for indexing to kick in, then try the feature again.
If it still doesn't work, I'd recommend you to contact support.
