My confluence server is compromised I want to change my confluence server to a new server. How to change my license to a new server.

Can you please share some more info about what you mean as "compromised"? There was a serious security exploit, found recently and if you have been affected you might need to upgrade.

Yes Borisov, the attack which resembles the same as security advisory has announced. Often our cron gets filled up with weird cron jobs and in process it lists with unknown jobs with user confluence which shoots 900% above the CPU rating and the confluence crashes frequently.

We have configured a new confluence server with 7.13 now we have to restore the full site backup and Licenses. The doubt we have, if we restore the full site backup, does it carry the virus along with that.

If we have to restore only Home Directory, Installation Directory, Postgres DB, and the License to a new production Server, what care extra care is needed to perform this kind of transfer.

The values advices will help us to perform our tasks.

Thanks for all your help. As a backup, I took the image of the present system and upgraded it to version 7.3. Now the problem is not there.
