Hi,
I have been directed here from support.
I have a personal Confluence Cloud account. It was setup with an email I no longer have access to. When I try to logon to this account I get a message that I need to change my password because the password was compromised on another site. But I can't change the password because I no longer have access to the email account.
The advice from support is "You will need support assistance to make <my new email> a site admin of the cloud site. You will need to reach-out to our online Atlassian Community for technical support assistance."
Please help?
Thanks,
Brad.
Did you contact Atlassian via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ ? Did they send you to the community for this?
I find it very odd if they did that as this is clearly an account issue. If you can't access your site or your MAC (my.atlassian.com) with the email that owns the site, only Atlassian themselves can help.
I'd give them another nudge and explain them that you lost all access to the account and therefor have no way to add new site admins yourself.
Kind regards
Jorden
Hi Jorden,
Thank you for your response. I too was very surprised.
I gave them another nudge and with someone different I am now getting the correct support.
Sorry to have wasted your time.
Brad.
