Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What problems are you having with Ukrainian text?  Atlassian are keen to hear about them.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- When I add text in Ukrainian (no matter is it text or text on a sticker) I can see it in  "edit" mode of this element. But when I click on the background - all symbols turns to squares. 1.png2.png

That is an interesting one.  Browsers usually present squares like that to we humans when it cannot render any of the fonts the web page being served has said to use (most pages suggest a font family rather than just a font)

So, your browser definitely has access to at least one Cyrillic font (otherwise you'd be getting squares as you type in the first case), but it looks like Jira is asking to use another that you don't have installed.

This is not likely to be a problem on your machine, as I'd expect you to have set the language on it to Ukrainian, which would make most OS's install all the Cyrillic fonts you might need, if they didn't already do it as part of the base install (I do a weird thing with most of mine - I remove the whole comic-sans family so I don't have to suffer it.  But the two laptops I use the most have Cyrillic fonts working fine when I swap my profile to Ukrainian - I can't replicate your problem)

My next step would be to use the developer tools in your browser to try to see what font-family the squares are supposed to belong to, then that is it a valid family, then check that you have at least one of the fonts from that family installed on your machine.

If it's an incorrect family, then we need to report this to Atlassian!

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-  I tried in Chrome (last version) and Safari. Safari is not supported (error message).

Any solution? Have the same problem.

The problem occurs only when trying to use whiteboard.
