No users in share list

I have installed JIRA set up all the users, all fine. I have installed Confluence, shared the users, Ican see them in the user admin as active users. When I try to share a page with them, the system will not recognise them and no autocomplete appears. The only name that will work is my own.

The users can access the pages on their system, but they cannot see their own name in the auto complete lists nor can they see mine.

I have seen another question like this but can't find it again, it mentioned there may be a bug but the issue did not look like it had been reopened.

Hi Michael,

When you're experiencing a search problem, it might be related to the Confluence indecies. I'd recommend you to Rebuild the Content Indices from Scratch by the steps that explanied in following documentation:
