Non-breaking space in page title

Hi there,

Can you add a non-breaking space to a page title to control how the document title prints (for product names, for example)?

Thanks,

Alice

I can tell you how to do it on a Windows machine. Not sure if you can do the same thing on a Mac or Linux box. Put your cursor in the Title field and then hold the alt key and type 255 on your number pad (not the numbers above the letters ... must be the number pad). It will put in ASCII 255 characters into the title, which is a non breaking space. Now, if this is a good idea or not is a different question. You could potentially confuse people as these look like spaces but they are not.

On a mac it's option + spacebar. Thanks for inspiring me to find this and fix it!!

Thanks Davin, that did the trick. I will see whether that causes any other trouble, but it seems to work so far.
