Hi,
I have recently installed confluence and linked it to JIRA to use same user base but in confluence i am not able to add any issues from JIRA or JIRA charts. Whenever i use macro for this, it says "log in & approve to retrieve data". Pls help.
Thanks,
Divya

Hi Rodrigo,
I tried to click on login but it doesn't take me anywhere.

Hi Divya,
This is the common behavior of using OAuth authentication method between Confluence and JIRA. In this case, you just need to click the button and login to JIRA/Confluence to access the macro information. You just need to do this once.
I hope this helps.
Cheers!
Rodrigo

Hi,
I can only assume the application links between your two instances are not set up correctly. You have to be an admin on both systems to set it up. Do you have them set up as trusted applications or ?

Hello Divya,
Would you please let us know whether you've created the application links between JIRA and Confluence? From your description it seems you have configured JIRA to be a User directory instead of creating an application links.
In case you have already created the applinks, would you mind to let us know which authentication method you're using?

Hi Eduardo, I had added app link in confluence but not in jira. Added now, so macros are working in confluence. Thanks for your help.
