Notifications in confluence

Hello, I have a problem related to notifications with Confluence. I need to receive email notifications when I create an event. I understood that this was simply done by creating a reminder, but it still doesn't work. Do you know how I can solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

These reminders may have been previously disabled by you. Check if reminders are turned off by clicking on ... to the right of an event type:
