Numbered Lists

Is there a way to maintain numbering in list when a hard return results in a line that should not be included? For instance:

1. List item 1

2. List item 3

3. List item 3

When I do this with the numbered list feature, #3 resets to #1 because of the hard return used to insert the image. If I try to do this without using the numbered list feature, Confluence automatically inserts the numbered list macro when I type the "1."

At the end of the line "List item 3" you can do SHIFT+ENTER to do a soft return. That should give you what you want.

Also, if you type "1. " and Confluence autoconverts that to a list, you can always hit CMD+Z to turn it back to normal text.
