Hello everyone!
We want to integrate OpenAI (ChatGPT) with Confluence Data Center
Need it to look like this - link our ChatGPT account to Confluence Data Center, send a request on the ChatGPT website or app and receive responses from it based on documentation from Confluence
Please tell me if anyone has had such experience? Is it possible to implement this through some third-party service/plugin or is a custom solution needed?
As far as I know there are near-term plans to provide Atlassian AI capabilities for Data Center! You may want to wait a little before investing more into ChatGPT.
Atlassian AI can be much smarter, at least theoretically, because it could be trained also from Jira issues, Bitbucket hosted code and so.
Hi @Nikita Mukovozov and welcome to Community!
You will need an app to do that. I just did a quick search for ChatGPT and filtered by Conflluence and DC hosting, but I don't know the apps and can't comment on the quality of the results https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=chatgpt&product=confluence&hosting=dataCenter
If you want better integrated AI assistance, you will probably need to migrate to Cloud some day. Atlassian now provides integrated AI features with Rovo that does exactly what you describe: giving responses based on your internal documentation.
