Hey,
since we've migrated Confluence from on promise to Data center (AWS), we have a problem with special characters in our PDF Exports.
I've tried to upload the Verdana font (also tried OpenSans and other fonts) in the admin interface and I've also tried to modify the PDF style-sheet and set Verdana as font-family.
Version: Confluence 6.15.9 - Data center on AWS
Screenshot from the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (after uploading Verdana to Confluence). As Encoding Identity-H is shown.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Florian
Hi Florian
are the chars not shown as all or displayed as a questionmark?
Did you check on the the charset encoding end

Cheers
Kurt
Hey Kurt,
exactly we only see questions-marks instead of the character.
The database is UTF-8:
Also the system is UTF-8:
But there are problems with the file name:
All encoding settings except one are UTF-8:
I will try to restart confluence outside our business hours with
-Dsun.jnu.encoding=UTF-8
Thanks for your help.
