Hi,
some extern guys should have access to a specific area, but in this are only to two pages. Is it possible to give them rights to only see them or do i have to edit every other page in this area ? Because, when i add a extra page, i have to edit the permissions again.
Thank you very much.
Pascal
Hello @Pascal Schindler,
This is not something you can easily do. Currently in Confluence, you'd need to do something like:
Space homepage
|
|- Parent page restricted to confluence-users
|- Restricted content only accessible to confluence-users
|- Parent page without any restriction
|- Unrestricted content accessible by both confluence-users and confluence-visitors
Atlassian is currently working on the way permissions work, see CONFSERVER-7089 and CONFSERVER-37884:
Atlassian Update, October 29 2018
We’re planning on making a number of improvements to Confluence permissions over the coming 6-9 months, and this is one of the suggestions we’re strongly considering implementing. We fully appreciate the current difficulties involved in not being able to ‘add’ page restrictions within a hierarchy which is overall more restrictive.
In the meantime, the app Comala Share it may help you (assuming you're using Confluence Server and not Cloud).
Hope this helps!

an easy way would be to move the requested pages to a new Confluence space and give permissions to your external partners via Space permissions.
This avoids possible leakage of internal information right from the beginning.
Best wishes
Chris
