Basically, i have hundreds of AD users and AD is connected to Confluence so they can login. but if they log in then they count towards licence, i dont want that. if i enable anonymous access then everyone can view my page which is what i need but i also have to identify user, so i want every AD user to be able to log in but not count towards licence they only need to be able to read one page and later sign that with "digital-signature" plugin. Or the other way is that they log in and use "courses and quizzes" plugin and start a course which they complete and then i can see that they completed that.
End result:
I have AD users (about 300-400 users) who have to read the NDA agreement and leave some trace so i can later see who have read it and who not.
That does not work like this.
Every personalized user also counts in the license.
Therefore, create a group in the AD that contains all users (of course, the number must be within the scope of the license) that should appear personalized in the Confluence.
In the Confluence via group object filter then only these users from this group are adopted.

The rest is only anonymous or not at all.
