Pasting text causes the window to scroll below where I pasted it

In the latest versions of Confluence when I paste text anywhere on a page the window jumps so that the top of the window is just below where I pasted it.

This is so annoying and surprised it hasn't been picked up. Is there a solution for this, or a bug report ?

I was having the same problem, and contacted Atlassian Support about it.  There is indeed an existing bug report:
