Permissions to specific pages (and page trees)

Hey,

We have a few contractors that need to use some of our Confluence pages. We don't want them to have an access to all of the Space and its pages.

Is there a way to give them access only to a specific pages (hopefully page trees)? Or maybe crate a different space that contains those specific pages (and gets updates when a page is updated in the original space?).

Fundamentally, Confluence works the opposite way: by default, all users have access to the whole space (all pages). Then, you can prevent specific user(s) to access to specific page(s) by adding 'restrictions' on the impacted page(s). So, I would not recommend trying to 'give access to specific pages', it would be very complicated.

As you suggest, having another space with those specific pages might be the solution, even if you will have to manage duplicate pages.
