Hi Confluence Community,
I’ve noticed that the "Tasks" option is no longer showing up in the profile dropdown menu. Could you please let me know if this feature has been moved, removed, or if it's a bug?
Hi @Tim Bindewald ,
Welcome to the Confluence Community! It's great to have you here!
Regarding the issue with the "Tasks" option, it seems like you're encountering a common issue. Since you mentioned that the link works when accessed directly, but the dropdown option is missing, it could be related to user settings or a recent update.
Here are a few things you can try:
Check Permissions: Ensure that all affected users have the necessary permissions to view tasks. Sometimes, specific user roles can affect visibility.
Clear Cache: Have you tried clearing the browser cache or using incognito mode? This can sometimes fix display issues caused by cached data.
Re-index Confluence: If you're an admin, re-indexing Confluence might help resolve this issue.
Check for Updates: Keep an eye on any updates or changes in Confluence release notes, as it's possible the feature was moved or temporarily disabled.
Feel free to let me know if you need further assistance! And again, welcome aboard! We’re happy to have you in the community.
Hello @Tim Bindewald
Welcome to the Community !
Can you hit this <Site url>/wiki/home/tasks and check what is shows?
Also, try to create a task for yourself and check again in profile view?

Hi @Piyush Annadate _ACE Pune_ thank you for your response!
Opening the direct link (/wiki/home/tasks) works and correctly displays all my tasks. That's a viable temporary workaround for me, thanks! Creating a new task does not change anything.
However, other users in our instance are experiencing the same issue, while for some the "Tasks" link still appears in their profile dropdown. I’ve already tested with different browsers, but the issue persists.
