Picture compression

I have some pages with pictures and text which seem to be too large to convert to word - page times out. Can I compress the pics within Confluence before I try to export?

@Martin Pearl there is no file manipulation tool available when exporting. 

Whatever you put in = whatever you pull out

You would need to update those images/files/photos and reload them to the page for them to export in the size/shape you want them to for the Word Export.

Sadly, that is what I expected.

As I have to produce word docs for our quality system I think I'm in for an enjoyable weekend of cut-paste. Sigh.

In my utopia, I would never have to leave Confluence. Alas, we are stuck in this ephemeral world...

Thanks again. As a mech engineer, this is not my preferred world. I don't do ephemeral. Still each to his own.
