Dear staff,
We have a self hosted confluence server - currently we have the database and the application on the same server. We plan to separate the Database and the application (In-house) and also install and SSL proxy. Could you please let me know if we could use the existing license. We do plan to keep the old server alive until me make sure that the new site works.
I would also like to know If we could change the installation directory on the new server for the confluence application.
Regards
Harini
Doesn't matter, community can help, too!
You can use the same license, but only one server is allowed to be productive. You can even have a cold standby server. The installation directory can be changed, but you must be careful with the data directory. It's much easier, if the path of the data directory is not changed. Are you using Linux or Windows?
