I recently evaluated the hosted version of Confluence and was very impressed, especially with its ability to embed a web page. I recommended the software to our company and we are evaluating the locally-installed version now, but I can't embed a web page. It seems like there are other features I am missing from the hosted version, and I want to give Confluence a fair Proof of Concept trial: what plug-ins would I need to buy in addition to the base license to match the hosted version of Confluence?

Many thanks for the answers. I did need a plug-in called "Adaptavist Content Formatting Macros" and once I had this plug-in installed (easy to install and a trial version so I can still work in trial mode) I could use the IFrame macro and I can now see the embedded website just as I could in the OnDemand trial. This is great! I also like the way it is easy to manage and install new plug-ins in Confluence.

Hi John,

You don't need to pay to use our trial version. You just need to go to our https://my.atlassian.com generate a license, and finally download Confluence.

Cheers,
WZ

John,

Have you tried the html include macro?

You are going to have to follow the instructions to enable it. Once you have you should be able to embed external pages into your Confluence instnace.
