This issue has occured frequently enough to cause some concern. When installing plugins on Confluence, often times a red banner will appear stating that the installation failed, however the Audit Log reports the install succeeded and the plugin is available in the Manage Plugins section and throughout Confluence.
The issue is mostly cosmetic, but the "false negative" is still somewhat troubling. Has anyone else seen this happening?
Confluence version 4.3.2
Universal Plugin Manager version 2.0.6
Hi Patrick,
I don't recall seeing this issue before. Problems during plugins installation can be Base URL related (not sure if it would fit your case since the plugin is actually installed), so you can check your Confluence Admin > General Configuration > Server Base URL and see if it matches the one you use to access Confluence.
Alternatively, you can try updating your UPM to the latest version and see if that makes a difference: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.upm.atlassian-universal-plugin-manager-plugin
Hope it helps!
