We are having Confluence (Data Center) with 2000 user license and have installed 11 plugins (listed below). Our management needs the number of users for each of the below listed plugin.

Note: we have around 1700+ users, but not all users are using any given plugin, so need user count for each plugin.

List of plugins:

Adaptavist ScriptRunner for Confluence
Comala Document Management
Refined for Confluence
Requirement Yogi
Scroll Viewport
Content Exporter
Better Content Archiving for Confluence
Bob Swift Atlassian Apps - SQL (Pro Edition)
Better Search for Confluence
Balsamiq Wireframes for Confluence Server
Gliffy Diagrams for Confluence

It's 2000 users for each app.

It doesn't matter how many people are actively using an app in an Atlassian system, they have to be licenced at the level of the application they've been added to.

So, even if you could identify numbers of actual users, that data is only going to be helpful when making the decision to stop using an app, and it's not the only thing you should be looking at to evaluate if you still need it - e.g. if you've only got 2 scripts and they only get run once a year, you could probably look at dropping Scriptrunner, or only 3 people are attaching Balsamiq files, you might want to drop that.

@Karthick Kumar M welcome to the Atlassian Community. Your monthly bill has detailed information on the apps you have installed, the number of users they are licensed for, and their line item cost. If you are an admin, you can access this by clicking on the cog icon on the top right of your site and selecting Billing under the Site Administration on the left side of the Settings panel. This will allow you to see a preview of your current bill as well as access previous bills.

Just keep in mind that in general apps are billed per user on the site, regardless of whether they are being use by that particular user or not.

I think what you wrote is valid for Cloud, but the question is about Data Center.

@Aron Gombas _Midori_ you are correct. I mistakenly posted the solution for Cloud. @Karthick Kumar M for Data Center you may see usage statistics and manage apps by following the instructions from this document.

Hello @Karthick Kumar M

Quoting the Pricing FAQ from the Atlassian Marketplace:

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product.

The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian product. For example, if you have a Confluence license for 500 users, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Atlassian product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

With respect to Comala Document Management, we cannot directly tell you how many users interact with the app, but we may be able to help you with some queries to see where the app is used. Please reach out to us at https://support.comalatech.com

Kind regards

James
