I'm using table excerpt / include to populate one page ("Start page") with several tables. Im collecting the information from many other pages. And this works fine. All my tables on the first page is displaying the correct information.
But i'm having problem with the look and feel of the page. Even though i copied the table to each source page. The tables vary in starting size. Some seems to be anchored to the side of the screen. so they always take maximum space and some seem not have this option.
I'm a bit confused: Does table excerpt include use the size restrictions of the source page? How to best align table sizes to make the start page look better.
Any hints would be super helpful.
Cheers,
Anders
Hi Anders,
The Table Excerpt Include macro doesn't apply any styles or size restrictions.
Please, check whether some tables are set to the Responsive or Fixed width mode in the editor (click inside the table and see the first dropdown option in the table editor toolbar).
Hi, Thanks for fast answer. I checked and i am using responsive layout on the tables.
But i notice that some pages have the table in a page layout grid. Could this affect the how the table look on the "start page"?

Yes, it can cause the issue. Could you try to copy the page with layout, remove a layout and see how these two tables with and without layout look on the "start page"?

In the end i resorted to copying the same "template table" into each page and move the old table content into the newly created table. After this all tables had the same size and the start page had a unified look. Thanks though for the answers and support.
