Is it possible for the text of a Confluence page to be published to the web so that it could be incorporated into a wordpress site?
Hi @Matt Richards welcome to the Atlassian community.
The answer to your query is "YES" and here's the official documentation.
Allowing” public links on Confluence makes them available to users on pages they have access to. “Disallowing” public links on Confluences makes them unavailable to all users and turns off all existing public links.
Only site and product admins can allow or disallow public links.
To allow public links on Confluence:
Select at the top-right of the navigation.
Select Settings.
Click Public links on the left.
This will display the Public links screen.
Toggle on Allow public links on Confluence.
With public links allowed, Confluence users will be able to use a public link to share individual pages with anyone on the internet.
Just to add to @G subramanyam answer, public links are currently not available, Atlassian paused the rollout and is currently planning to make it available in Q4 2023 based on the public roadmap. For Wordpress there is an app by K15t that would allow you do this, it is currently in beta.

Thanks for your thoughts guys. I came across "public links" and found that they do not meet our requirements for two reasons:
1. They are not available to us, as Mikael mentioned
2. As written in the original post, we are looking to publish the content of a confluence page to a wordpress site, not publish an entire confluence page (with it's UI/look and feel) to the internet generally.
Thankfully we found the plugin below that meets our needs exactly, is free and works quite well!
