Question on embedded editor for form data

Hello. I have a question on the embedded inline editor. When I select a row to be edited and the dialog appears if all columns are filled in, should the form also be filled in too? I have one field in the form that is blank but I see the form data has data in the specific field.

My question is, are any actions fired off when the dialog is displayed? I kind of have a feeling that maybe it is and one of my action fields is wiping out the initial value when the dialog is drawn.

I'm not sure which one is firing but if there is a simple way to disable this during the initial edit that would be interesting to know. I do need the action fields but just wondering if there is a simple way to turn off during the initial draw.

I was able to re-do the form so that this was no longer an issue. I was pulling data from another dataset and the actices were wiping the entryI was looking to have updated.
