Hi,
When a user submits a form i can capture the date the form is submitted (know how to do that).
What i want to do is also add a minimum of 10 days to the date, that was the form was submitted on.
Oh, if you are using ConfiForms then you should probably label the question accordingly (will do it now) and mention that in the question.
To answer your question in ConfiForms context see this page https://wiki.vertuna.com/spaces/TEST/pages/12779769/Using+ConfiForms+Field+Definition+Rule+to+set+the+date+to+15+days+after+the+date+the+user+has+selected
(one of the ways of how to do that - can also do it via IFTTT macros or using another type of calculations, solely on dates.. not timestamps..)

You could probably do this using a user macro, but I'd need to know how you capture the date that the form is submitted.
For Cloud, you could use Useful Macros for Confluence Cloud, which contains an "add days to date" macro.

Hi,
I am using a ConfiForms Field Macro in a tableview with this field name.
It captures the date when the form is submitted:
created.formatDate()

I saw you were on DC, just added the info in case someone else comes across this page with the same question but has the cloud version. Glad @Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ could help you find a solution!

Under the hood, these programs have a lot in common, as they share a similar query language. A date can be stored in a {{variable}} , that can be manipulated in a similar fashion.
Kind regards,
Dick

Hello @Joseph Veal-Briscoe
Is the form submission causing Jira issue to be created? Are you trying to update another date field in the Jira issue to be 10 days later?
Or is this scenario related only to activities and data within Confluence?

Hi, this is related to activities and data within confluence. This is a separate user submission form.
I basically wanted to add a standard turnaround time of 10 days after a user submits a form, from the date the form is submitted.

Thank you for that clarification.
I will move your question from the Jira Questions forum to the Confluence Questions forum then.
