Adding new lines in text field of a database?

Is there any way to add new lines in a text field of the new database pages? For example, I want to create a small bulleted list of notes for a standup meeting, where each person gets there own line of the database. I haven't been able to use "shift-enter", to create a new line within the text box though. This would be extremely useful!

I don't know that it will let you add bullets and other formatting, but if you click on the gear icon to edit a text field, there's a check box under "Edit Options" to "Allow line breaks." It at least allows for multi-line entries if nothing else.
