I've been tasked to add borders to the content of our team's confluence page but not globally
How do I add borders to specific macros on the page?
It is mostly code snippets, powerpoint and photos. I'm in editing mode and click on the code snippet macro for example and the only options it gives me are select language, copy and remove.
I know it is possible to edit CSS styling as a system administrator and they should be able to grant CSS styling permission but how do I know who this person is-- is it listed on the page somewhere?
Welcome to the Community!!
Customizations to macros on having borders on the page is not possible
You can do it so by adding sections and columns
You could possibly think of having an add-on to customize the pages to your needs

Thanks
Thank you for the response. It's definitely not ideal to go with the third part plugin route-- I will probably suggest it to the team... Would you happen to know what this documentation( https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/basic-styling-tutorial-170000548.html ) is referring to? It talks about editing the CSS without a plugin.
