Hi,
So initially we did tried to stop confluence but it showed error - Stop Aborted and PID file found but either no matching process was found or the current user does not have permission to stop the process. So after this we found out the PID file and killed it.
So after this we tried to stop/start confluence but came up with the error which is attached in screenshot. Then we again tried to check with ps -ef|grep confluence to check if confluence is up or not. But it wasn't. Then we check for the permissions for the confluence.cfg.xml file as it was showing error for it. So the permissions for that was with root. So we changed it to confluence and then tried to start/stop confluence. Then it got stucked on Server startup in [12203] milliseconds and showed error in confluence UI as added in screenshot -
Can you check if the ownership / permission for other confluence related config files is correct.

So for this we killed the pid by going in /opt/atlassian/confluence/work/catalina.id.
Then we tried to stop confluence and start it, then came up with an error as
Then I again stopped the confluence and changed the confluence.cfg.xml permissions from root to confluence. But then also it solved the issue and this time came up with a new issue as -
Please help me over this as asap.
Regards,
Yash

Hi @Kurt Klinner ,
I have got the issue solved. The issue was with confluence.cfg.xml file. Something was missing in it. So for this we took the backup file which is usually stored in export folder in Home Directory and then copied that file and use with.
The issue got resolved with that.
