After upgrade to 8.8, Announcement Banner dont work

It is not possible to change anything on the Announcement Banner .

When saving, all the text in the Announcement field disappear, and I get an errormessage:

• Unable to update the announcement banner. Please, correct errors shown below and try again.

Announcement cannot be NULL. 

I try to fill in info in the banner again, but again everything disappears

Hello there, thanks for the bug report.

Development team have just released a new version that must solve the problem.
Can you try with v1.12.0-RELEASE and let us know if it works as expected?

Not quite an answer -- I have the same issue and confirm the behavior as described by Kristel.

However, the preview option works as intended thus, I suspect the app is unable to save the settings (permissions issue?).

I am using Confluence 8.8.0 implemented via docker (atlassian/confluence:8.8-jdk11 image) on a PostgreSQL 15 database.

Announcement Banner version is 1.11.1 -- which seems to be compatible with Confluence 8.8.0 Datacenter
