Hi,
We are creating confluence space for our organization from scratch, we mostly plan to use confluence as knowledge basis. We are organization of 40 employees and right now in standard plan with 5 users, we want most of our employees to view/comment on confluence only. My confusion is should we be in the current (standard) plan and give access to anonymous users (other employees to view/comment) or should we get all the employees user access. Which is more feasible? Can anyone please share insights on this.
TIA
Hi Tia,
This one is tricky. So, yes, you could totally give all your colleagues access using anonymous access, but that will also open your space up so anyone on the internet can also access and comment on your pages.
So in this case, the best think to do would be to get a licence for all your teammates.
And alternative could be to publish the Confluence content to a website using an app like my team's Scroll Viewport. The downside there though, is that people who visit the site won't be able to update the pages or leave comments. So everyone having licenses would be preferable.
