When I go to export my space to a PDF file, once it hits the 50% mark I get the following error message. There was an error in the export. Please check your log files. How do I fix this issue?
Hmmm,
I have exact the same error, but we are on free cloud plan, so we couldn't contact to support.
Now the circle is complete...
What we can do?
Hi Svyat,
If you ask this as a new question on Community, the support team can see your Cloud site information, and if needed, we will help you raise a ticket with support.
Feel free to mention me here once you've done that, and I can get things rolling. :)
Take care,
Shannon

Hello Dana, it is hard to tell what could be the issue without looking at the logs which we don't access on Cloud version like repi mentioned. However, did you try to do a "Custom Export" by selecting few pages and see if it works. If not then you need to raise a ticket with Atlassian Cloud Support

What message is written in the log file?

Sorry, you have a cloud version.
I only know the cloud free variant.
Unfortunately, I don't know whether log files can be viewed in the other cloud variants.

The Cloud Support team will need to have a look at your log files for you, but your site admin has to be the one to raise the ticket.
Please have your site admin contact Cloud Support about this issue so we can have a look at your logs to determine why the PDF export is failing.
In the meantime, I would recommend doing a Custom Export, and try exporting the space in segments instead of all at once. This way, you'll be able to to determine which page is causing the PDF export to fail.
From Step 4:
Choose either a normal or custom export for HTML or PDF, or a Full or Custom XML export:
Custom Export – if you want to export selected pages only, or if you want to exclude comments from the export.

Shannon
