I am looking for a way to archive or collapse answered comments on a confluence page. Our users ask questions on a dedicated confluence page but they are adding up quickly. In order to keep the page uncluttered, I would like to be able to collapse or better yet archive the questions that have already been answered. The archived questions should still be accessible. How can this be done? I don't see the comments section in the source code of the page...
Hi @MT ,
Talk - Advanced Inline Comments for Confluence app has the Archive feature that applies exactly in your case. When you archive a talk, it disappears from the comment sidebar but continues invisibly exist on the page. You can see the context once you need it (it is always at hand) or restore this discussion when you want to resume it.
With Confluence inline comments you can only delete or resolve comments. In both options, the comments are absent on the page.
Hi @MT,
I recently developed something similar on one of our 'Häcketse' events. For sure this is not in a state which can be used/shared but illustrates some ideas I had.

I would love to discuss your requirements further with you to learn more and maybe come up with something which works for a broader audience.
Best, Tobias

Milda,
To insert the html macro (if using a mac), click Shirt + Left Calibrate ({). Type in the macro name. Then enter the code.

Thanks. I tried Shift + Left Calibrate ({) and entered html but nothing came up. Is this the user macro that might not be enabled for us?

Are you able to find any other macro using the same method?

Milda,
If you type in HTML and nothing comes up, then i don't know what the issue is.
