I noticed in the "Task Report" macro that there is a column for assignee.  However, I cannot figure out how to "assign" a task to someone without simply typing `@User Name: This is a task`, in which case the assignee column is redundant.

Example:

Can you assign a task without it being part of the task description?

Hi @Scott Beeson,

You can try to customize a task report macro, configure to display the columns you need.

First, that's the opposite of what I want to do. The task report macro already has the ability to hide the assignee column.

I'm asking if I can hide the inline mention and still have it assigned.  Otherwise, what is even the point of the assignee column (since it's ALWAYS in the task description)?

Second, I use cloud.
