Best options for Cloud to cloud migration (From one org Site to Another)

we are planning to migrate one Org's Confluence Site to the other Org's confluence Site. We are in the planning phase for now, and I would like to know about the best way possible to do this migration with out any issues.

For all the reading I have done, I found out 2 options,

1. Space by Space

2. Site by Site using the Migration tool.

Can anyone help me understand in detail that how does a Site by Site works? I want to go through the steps for it so that I can have a better understanding of things and also the precautions we should take and the plan we can follow for this.

Also if there is any other option worth exploring, Please share!!
