Via JSM automation, you can use the "Create page in Confluence" and push JSM information into that new page. Once that page is created, is there a way that whatever someone edits on that page could then be sent back to the ticket that created that page? I see that Confluence has its own automation tool, but not sure if that tool includes an "Update JSM ticket" type function.
Reason being is that I am working thru setting up Change Management in JSM and thought about implementing Confluence to some degree.
A JSM ticket is just a Jira issue after all. If Confluence Automation allows you updating Jira issues, then it is doable.
An automation rule built from these components can do it!
Great thanks for the info. Currently, we don't have Confluence Premium, so I was unable to see any Automation functions. I may try out the trial for 30 days to see how it works.
