CONFIFORMS: How to setup correctly an autolink to a local folder/file

Hi experts

I am trying to setup an autolink field type in my Confiforms, using the following syntaxis:

This is the configuration of the field, as simple as this.

As a result, I have the following TableView:

If I copy and paste the link straight to a new explorer windows, it works perfectly and the result is this, which is precisely what I want to get:

But, when I click on the link, this is what is rendering:

What am I doing wrong? I think it can be something related to the way it shows the link, because when I setup i.e. "http://www.bing.com" works fine and follows the link.

I have tried both Edge and Firefox and the result is the same.

Local links get sanitized (removed) in ConfiForms cloud

Same problem in Data Center. Then only difference is that when I click on the link nothing happens. How could I solve it?

There could not be "same" problem, as in DC/server we dont sanitize the link

And it is generated just like you tell it to

<a href="file:////C:/Users/">file:////C:/Users/</a>

 (Whatever this is... I am not familiar with such kind of links)
