Can I use variables for macro names while creating a template?

I am creating a template where I am using several Table Excerpt macros which all need to share a common prefix. I tried using a Name=$prefix_name, while setting up this Table Excerpt macro but that doesn't seem to work as I expected. Is there a way to get these macro names to use a variable? If so, how would I do that?

Unfortunately, can't think of anything to help your case. The Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros are not supposed to work with native Confluence template variables.
