People have been sending me access request via email when the try to access confluence space/link. When I grant access to the confluence, it does no tell them that they have been added. Can confluence notify users when they have been granted access?
Hi Ajith,
There isn't any way to turn on email notifications for permission or restriction changes, but a possible workaround would be to use the Share button on the requested page after you add the access, to send a quick note to the user saying they should be able to access it.
I look forward to hearing how that works in your case.
Thanks,
Ann
Hi Ann,
I have the same question as mentioned by Ajith and found the following Atlassian blog post from 2013: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/archives/new-in-confluence-request-access-to-view-restricted-pages where just this functionality is described as a new feature. Has it been removed since then? *SAD*
Thanks a lot
Maik
