This morning i noticed some slight UI changes in confluence, i.e. you don't "Save" a document anymore but you "Update" it now.
I assume that there were additional changes in this release, because of the following issue:
The problem:
I have my own space on confluence as well as access to the company space (the company i work for).
Usually i could create a document in my space, and move it to the company space.
It worked yesterday.
Today i only see "You can't move this content to another space because you don't have permission to delete in this space."
I don't have permission to delete in my own space?
Hey @Roman Meister,
I removed my former response as I was testing the behavior and it feels like a weird bug to me because I ran into the same issue when viewing the page (Missing permissions), would have been able to move it in Edit mode, and after saving the page I was able to move in when viewing the page. So..... Very weird. 😄
Best, Max
Not a complete answer in my opinion, but it only works now in the edit mode of a document, in case anyone has the same question...
EDIT:
So this "error" happens infrequently.
Sometimes i can move from "detail" view (i.e. not edit view), sometimes the warning appears and i can not.
I guess that "feature" is here to stay. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Roman Meister The Update button is part of the new publishing experience (see https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/A-better-publishing-experience-is-coming-to-you/ba-p/2395090 ).
With this new feature, you are able to publish the page to a different Location, which can be your company space.
I don't think this removes the page from the original space, just publishes it to the other location, but I have not used it yet.

I don't have any issues with the Update button, just mentioned it since it first appeared for me the last days (i am assuming a/b feature testing)
>With this new feature, you are able to publish the page to a different Location, which can be your company space.
I understand, however that was not my issue, i only mentioned this because i assumed it was the same release that "broke" the document move functionality.
The issue as described above is that i used to be able to move a document from it's "detail" view.
After posting this question and some more testing i noticed and followed up with a partial answer that this is now only possible in the "edit" view.
Anyways i'll update my question since i noticed that this only irregularly, sometimes i can move from "detail" view, sometimes i get the above mentioned error.

I have used it multiple times, it does not copy it actually moves, so it removes the document from it's source location.
