Can org admins customize the personal space that is generated for every new user (or existing ones)

Ishaan Dev January 12, 2023

Hi,

I would like to add useful onboarding pages to the personal space of existing and new users in my confluence space. I don't want to have to do this manually every time someone joins. Is there a way to customize the personal space for every user so that it contains pages dictated by an admin?

Thanks

@Ishaan Dev Welcome to the Atlassian community

I believe that you can do the following:

  1. Navigated to Confluence Admin Settings > Global Templates and Blueprints
  2. Edit Default Personal Space Content. Make changes in this template. Save.

The changes that you make in the template should appear on new personal spaces that are created.  I do not know of any way to change the spaces that have already been created without changing each page manually.

Hi This was super helpful. HOWEVER:

I went to the settings area in the main confluence site (top right near my name) and found Global Templates and Blueprints.

Under Default Personal Space Content, I found we can only change the overview page of the personal space. Is there a way to add pages to each personal space for every new user? Or can we only change the overview page?

Thanks!
