Hi guys,
Apologies in advance if this is basics but trying to improve my confluence help page writing skills.
Got quite a complex help guide to write and wanting to use anchors. but using the page https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/anchors-139442.html to help me.
When in step 2 on the above link, linking an anchor to a confluence page (to a point on the same page) it does not seem to follow.
I can't click 'advanced' when inserting a link.
I highlight the text I want to link to the anchor, then press Ctrl+K. A modal comes up but there is nowhere I can click 'Advanced', as detailed in the instructions above.
Any help appreciated, or any video content would be good too!
Hi @Jack Howard ,
you're looking at the documentation for the Data Center/Server product and should have a look at the corresponding Cloud documentation of adding links:
Adding links looks very different in the new Confluence Cloud editor, so I totally get your confusion. Please read through that page and try adding a link to an anchor again. This time it will work for sure! ;) And please be aware that the link is case-sensitive! Here's a quick example of how it will look like for you probably:
Best, Max
