Can't stop receiving emails when someone likes one of my pages

Mike Buchanan

I'm on Confluence 6.6.1.  I have many pages which I have authored and I can't find a way to turn off the email notifications when someone likes a page.  I have unchecked all the email settings in my personal profile and have also stopped watching the pages.  I still receive emails for those pages when someone likes it.  What am I missing?

Thank you for any help in this!

Hi @Mike Buchanan,

There was a conversation here around the "Likes" notification a while ago...here is a link:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/disable-like-button/qaq-p/90327

I'm able to disable them in my Cloud version, and I found this document as well:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/likes-and-popular-content-278695530.html?_ga=2.123538571.1864713660.1544447422-1713673472.1533143156

That article is for 6.1.3, so there may have been changes between then and 6.6.1. Let us know if this info doesn't help, I'll keep digging.

Thanks Scott, the second link had the answer I needed.  Although I had tried the first suggestion on that page, I had not tried the 2nd  -

  • Go to <your confluence URL>/plugins/likes/view-notifications.action

That one worked!
