Can you have multiple file attachments with different labels on 1 page?

Hi - I am trying to create a folder-esque type of order on a page for a project.  I want to save files and 'categorize' them into groups such as:

  • contract
  • vendor reporting
  • deliverables

I used the attachment macro and set the label to coincide the the title as seen below.

When I go to drag-n-drop to a particular attachment area (say "Notes") - the file never goes in, and seems to disappear.  I do not know how to fix the behavior (if I can).

Any suggestions or best practices to this dilemma?  Thanks a bunch!!

Hi @Sandra Lawrence

Can you try creating three separate pages eg:  Contract, Vendor reporting and deliverables and add attachments macro on each of them instead of having the macro's on a single page ? Then drag/drop files to each of them and see if that works for you!

I could do that - my challenge is that I have over 30-45 projects that I would have a similar governance.  This means that every project page would then have 3 supporting file structure pages.  I would think this would be hard to keep track of (and how to show other team members/leaders with 4 pages to each project?

In that case having a parent page with attachment macros, coming from different page titles does makes sense. I tried to replicate this and I am facing similar behaviour like yours i.e. if I drag and drop files those are not getting uploaded but if i click on "Browse for files" the files are uploaded, it seems like a bug and someone from Atlassian Team should be able to help.

how do I go forward to submit a possible bug like this to Atlassisan?
