On a file list page I can preview 'h' and 'cp' files but for 'c' files I get the message
"We can't preview this file.
You'll have to download the file to view it."
Mike,
Can you please clarify what you mean by 'c' files? Do you mean that you can't view any files which start with 'c'?
Does this occur in multiple browsers? What version of Confluence are you running?
Shannon
Shannon,
I’m running the cloud version of Confluence from Google Chrome. By ‘c’ files I mean files with the extension .c, for example main.c. The interesting part is that previewing a file named main.h works fine.

Hi Mike,
So these should all be previewing as text files?
Can you go to the files list and click on Properties and compare the New Content Type field for the .c files vs the .h or .cp files?

Mike,
I tested this on my Cloud instance and for .c, .cp, and .h files all are previewed without issue. However, I don't write code so my files are all just plain text saved as the appropriate file extension.
I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome.
Does this occur with 100% of your .c files? We will likely need to see the error logs themselves so I will need to raise a support ticket for you. Can you confirm your working hours so I can raise the ticket with the appropriate team?

This does occur with 100% of my .c files. I've also tried with Microsoft edge and Internet Explorer with the same result, only ".c" files. I'm in California and be reached most anytime from 5am till 7pm PST.

Thank you, Mike!
I raised a ticket so we can look at the issue directly on the URL. I just noticed you shared the URL in your screenshot so I will update the SEN on your ticket, but if you can still reply to the question with some example pages, it will help!
Regards,
Shannon
